Hey folks! Meet one of the best damn grapplers in the business, Mackenzie Dern. It’s being reported that the 22-year-old number one Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner is transitioning over to the world of MMA in a few months, so keep your eyes wide open for her debut.
According to MMA Fighting, Mackenzie has just inked a deal with Legacy FC and she will be making her entrance inside the cage on July 22, 2016 in Dallas. Legacy Fighting Championship is a mixed martial arts promotion based in Houston, Texas. They announced the news on Thursday.
Dern stated,
I hope I can represent jiu-jitsu well and put on a good performance, who turns 23 years old on March 24. Of course, I will try to be aggressive, but it’s my first fight, so I will still feel everything, see what I have to improve.
