Yes! This is what we’re about at Yell! Magazine: the merging of subcultures! So, the fact that heavy metal label Metal Blade Records is setting up a booth at the New York Comic Con (NYCC) this weekend really trips our geek bone! This is Metal Blade’s debut as a vendor at the NYCC, which takes place at the Javits Center from October 8th-11th, 2015. Located at booth #431 (Hall 3E Entrance), Metal Blade will have label merchandise, as well as a selection of CDs, DVDs, vinyl, books, and more available for purchase. Fans can also grab free CD samplers and The Black Dahlia Murder/Metal Blade sticker sheets while supplies last.
Additionally, NYCC will be fans’ first chance to purchase two t-shirt designs by the late fantasy artist master Frank Frazetta (frankfrazetta.net), which have been officially licensed to Metal Blade. Three other designs will be available at a later date at metalbladestore.com. Stay tuned for more details about this special partnership coming soon!
