Southern California’s hardcore unit, Obliterations, have released the new video for the aggressive “Scapegoat,” a track that exists on the bands Southern Lord-released debut LP, Poison Everything. The video features stock footage of humanity at the dawn of the Nuclear Age, showing us in our violent and glutenous best, and I guess the point is that we haven’t really changed in the last 60 years or so.
Check out the video in the player above, then head on over Obliterations’ Bandcamp page to stream the album in full, and finally go here to purchase the raging album.
Obliterations is currently touring in support of Poison Everything alongside Vancouver, British Columbia-based punks White Lung for the bulk of the two-week rampage that will see the crew storming states in the Midwestern and Northeastern U.S. and Southeastern Canada. Coliseum also joins the tour lineup for the shows in Montreal and Ottawa, the latter of which at Ottawa Explosion Weekend along with Boilermaker and more. The tour comes to a close the third weekend in June at the huge NXNE Festival in Toronto, where Obliterations performs with Girl Band, Mission Of Burma, California X, and Grooms.
