Have you heard the new Queensrÿche song, “Guardian“? You should; it’s awesome classic heavy metal with a just enough modern twists to keep it in the progressive metal realm. The upcoming album, Condition Hüman, is vocalist Todd La Torre’s second album with the band, and while his style also helps keep the legendary band in the progressive metal arena, I feel like his is more of a NWOBHM style, not unlike Bruce Dickinson. Speaking of Torre, I know a lot of fans are butt-hurt about Geoff Tate not being there, but there’s no denying that Torre is fucking good. Having said that, I don’t the reference made by the lyric “revolution calling.”
Condition Hüman will be released on October 2nd. Pre-order the album here.
