New Official Release Date Set For Gene Wilder’s Haunted Honeymoon Blu-ray

Haunted Honeymoon

This week it was sad to see the passing of one the world’s funniest actor known to mankind, Gene Wilder. He starred in many memorable films such as Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, including the 1986 horror comedy Haunted Honeymoon.

To honor his achievement as a beloved Hollywood actor and for giving fans many hours of entertainment, Kino Lorber will release the Blue-ray edition of Haunted Honeymoon a bit earlier than the originally expected.

This September fans can enjoy the newly re-mastered version of the film, which Wilder co-wrote, directed, and starred in alongside his wife, Gilda Radner. Haunted Honeymoon is an amusing horror comedy that’ll put a smile on your face – and keep it there.

At the mansion of his great aunt Kate (DeLuise), Larry (Wilder) is undergoing a psychological procedure designed to rid him of his irrational phobias… by frightening them right out of him! But the jolts and frights may turn out to be the least of his problems when Kate names him her sole heir. Suddenly, the entire family seems a little too vigorous in participating in his therapy – leading Larry to believe that one of his jealous kin may be murderous… and that another may be a werewolf.

The Haunted Honeymoon Blu-ray is now slated for September 6th. Ahead of the release you can check out the new cover art right below.
