A new official poster has been released for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which features ape leader Caesar riding a horse with an M-16 riffle gripped in his left hand. Pretty badass, if you ask me. It definitely looks like the humans are up to their knees with problems and the tide has shifted in the apes’ favor.
I also think Caesar watched way too many damn western films since he makes John Wayne look like a pony rider. And John Wayne was no slouch.
Anywho, if you’re looking forward to this film release in the summer, make sure you catch it in theaters on July 11th.
