Gary Shore’s Dracula Untold (previously known as Dracula: Year Zero) is nearly in theaters folks. Which means you’ll be seeing tons of marketing material for the film over the next few months before the big release in October. You can start off with a teaser poster above that gives us a first look at Luke Evans as Dracula.
If you have been following the progress on Dracula Untold, then you should know that this drama-horror had numerous director changes in the past before Universal secured Shore as the director. Very little is known about him since he ONLY helmed one project, The Draft, a hilarious mini-creature short in the spirit of the old ’50s sci-fi “B-Movies.” I’m trusting that Universal made a good call to pick Shore because they can’t really afford to fuck this one up. Dracula is technically their baby since the early ’30s. I personally can’t wait to see the spin they did on the iconic monster. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to tell how great it is until the first trailer drops, which won’t be for another few weeks, at least.
Dracula Untold hits theaters on October 17th.
