TUF 19 Finale

Former UFC Lightweight Champion, Frankie Edgar, performed a one-sided fight against B.J. Penn on Sunday night at the TUF 19 Finale after defeating “The Prodigy” by TKO in the third round. All around, Edgar was debatably quicker and much more agile than the MMA veteran was, but one thing we can all agree on is that both have a lot of respect for each other.

Respect was shown inside the Octagon and backstage, as shown in the picture above that captures a final moment between the two that MMA fans don’t always get to see. Penn will clearly be remembered as one of the best as he steps away from competing in the sport, and it’s sad to see the UFC move on without him. Expect him to be inducted iton the UFC Hall of Fame following his retirement, which he officially announced during the post-fight presser for TUF 19.

Penn retired at age 35 with title wins in multiple weight classes.
