Written and directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad is based on Task Force X, better known as Suicide Squad, which was created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru in 1959. The squad has included countless DC villains within its ranks, including Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Bane, Killer Frost, Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn.
Suicide Squad Synopsis:
A secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.
Suicide Squad is expected to be released on August 5, 2016.
