Those looking forward to the seminal return of Sharknado on Syfy will be happy to hear that a premiere date is officially set in stone for the fourth installment. Best of all, Syfy and The Asylum also announced the new title of Sharknado 4 yesterday and the official title is… Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. So, two sweet reveals in a single day and that’s just out right awesome!
The two-hour SYFY original movie will premiere four months from now on a TV very, very nearby – on Sunday, July 31st at 8 PM ET/PT. Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens will take place five years after the East Coast was ravaged in last summer’s Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!.
The film is a production of The Asylum. Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct an original screenplay written by Thunder Levin.
Sharknado: The 4th Awakens Synopsis
