P.O.E. Project Of Evil – 3 Evil Points: Trailer, Stills, And The Release Date

You can almost never go wrong with recreating the works of one of horror’s masters, by whom I mean Edgar Allan Poe. This explains why, just a few short years later, a second anthology film dedicated to the late Bostonian’s work is on the horizon.

For your pleasure we got some stuff to show off. Above, find the trailer, and below find the key art and some stills from P.O.E. Project of Evil.

In the spirit of P.O.E. Poetry of Eerie, the first anthology of which 15 international directors took part in, comes P.O.E. Project of Evil, which re-imagines 7 of Poe’s works by a few of the directors of Eerie. Both anthologies are Italian-made, but offered in the English language.

P.O.E. Project of Evil shifts the focus from the poetic and macabre of Eerie and puts it on bloody, violent, and disturbing instead. The new anthology includes such Poe classics as “The Pit and the Pendulum,” “Solo,” “Loss of Breath,” “The Murders in the Rue Morgue,” “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The System of Dr. Tar and Prof. Feather,” and The Premature Burial.”

P.O.E. Project of Evil hits DVD and VOD on May 6th. Directors on this project include: Giuliano Giacomelli, Edo Tagliavini, Domiziano Cristpharo, and Donatello Della Pepa.
