Poison Headache Reveals Secret Member And A New Track

The other day we brought you “Sin Eater” from the mysterious new band, Poison Headache. Well, there wasn’t a whole lot that was mysterious beyond a band member’s identity being kept under wraps, which didn’t seem like it was going to be kept a secret for very long… and it wasn’t; a name has been revealed and so has a new track.

The mystery member is guitarist Phil Sgrosso of Wovenwar and As I Lay Dying and the new song is “Conspirator.” Sgrosso commented on the new track at MetalSucks.net, where the track is also streaming:

‘Conspirator’ reflects the punk influence in our music. It’s fast and simple in nature but we still aim to keep it heavy. In our book, there’s no better way to start a song off than with a circle pit. This song is written for those who manipulate and take advantage of the weak minded to serve their own destructive agenda. You will get yours.

Poison Headache’s self-titled debut will be released on June 3rd, and Southern California-based fans can hear the record in its entirety at a special album listening party, which will take place on May 21st, at Brick by Brick immediately following the Soulfly show. The event will feature “Hail, Colossus” — an exclusive, small batch beer by Coronado Brewing Co. — plus giveaways for Poison Headache CDs, t-shirts, and more. Located at 1130 Buenos Avenue, San Diego, CA 92110, the party is 21+ with no cover; for more information, please visit: www.brickbybrick.com
