Abe Lincoln Resurrected For Horror Once Again – President’s Day (2010) Coming To Blu-Ray

In the past year, we’ve seen Abe Lincoln take on zombies and hunt vampires. Now he’s putting high school students in a permanent detention in President’s Day. The 2010 film, directed by Chris LaMartina, is coming to Blu-ray on April 9, 2013, and it was just announced that you can pre-order it today ($13.48 at Amazon) – on President’s Day. Now that’s marketing genius.

Described as something reminiscent of ’80s slashers, President’s Day entertains us with a high school election that turns all kinds of awesome when a homicidal maniac dressed like Abe Lincoln starts killing the candidates. Get the Mystery Machine started.

The cast of the film includes Ruby LaRocca (Slaughter Daughter), George Stover (Witches Brew), Shawn C. Phillips (Haunted High), Bennie Mack McCoy IV, and Nicolette Le Faye (Silver Scream).
