by Old-school heshers rejoice. Queensrÿche is back, with a new album (Condition Hüman, released October 2015) and now a brand new video. Watch the futuristic, steampunk-inspired “Eye 9” in the player above and let us know what you think, not just of the video, but also of the tune. That opening bass is nothing short of simplicity at its finest. And vocally, it might not be Geoff Tate, but Todd La Torre, who has been delivering vocals for the band since 2012, does an outstanding job.
Condition Hüman, via Century Media Records, debuted at #27 on the Billboard Top 200 charts with 13,798 units sold. The disc sees LaTorre deliver the performance of a lifetime on what is now his sophomore recording effort with the band. Produced by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed) in the band’s native Washington, Condition Hüman is a new mountain towering over many of the peaks and valleys of the hard rock landscape.
