After three failed crowdfunding campaigns, it sounds like controversial video game movie director Uwe Boll has officially called it quits with platforms such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter. In the next three days, his third attempt to raise $55,800 for Rampage 3 is most likely going to be a huge waste of time. Fans aren’t fully supporting his mass murder thriller, and that’s why Uwe is on a serious “rampage” with everyone online, including George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt for some reason.
Since Sunday, Uwe has been lashing out on YouTube on how crowdfunding is “absolutely dead” and that the Kickstarter team was really more interested in collecting their fee.
It’s all f**king bullsh**, and I will never do it in my life again. For me, crowdfunding is absolutely dead. Goodbye. End. It looks like nobody gives a sh** about Rampage 3, so maybe I shouldn’t do it, then.
I have enough money to play golf ’till I’m dead.
In a final message online, Uwe appears much more angered toward Hollywood because he think Rampage 3 is more “important” than anything in the industry in general. For Uwe, everything is fake in Hollywood and celebrities only do charity work when it benefits their own personal brands.
At this point, I’m just surprised Uwe hasn’t flipped off his mother yet, but that’s coming in the not too distant future. In my opinion, Uwe is just warming up.
