Summer is here, and that means that festival season is here too. Whether or not you’ve ever been to the Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, Quebec, if you’re a fan of festivals and of the underdog succeeding against the odds, then you’ll likely enjoy the upcoming documentary, Montebello Rock Village: The Story of Rockfest. This past week, the film’s trailer was released, and you can have a peek in the player above.
An ongoing project since 2010, the film will finally see the light of day this fall to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the festival. The film will tell the unique story of the event, from its modest beginnings with 500 festival-goers till today, the largest rock festival in Canada.
Over 200 bands will be featured in the documentary. Members of Bad Religion, The Offspring, Pennywise, Korn, NOFX, and Lagwagon appear in the trailer.
All details for the film’s release will be announced in the upcoming months.
Amnesia Rockfest, which takes place June 18-21, 2015, in Montebello, Quebec, will celebrate its 10th Anniversary Edition with a massive lineup featuring over 100 bands: System Of A Down, Linkin Park, The Offspring, Slayer, Snoop Dogg, Rob Zombie, Tenacious D, Sublime with Rome, Deftones, Rancid, Bad Religion, and tons more.
