 Resident Evil: Revelations 2

In September, Capcom officially announced that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was in the works. The game will be a sequel, and released in segments until a complete version of the horror survival gets released in 2015.

Based on the first teaser trailer, we know that Revelations 2 promises to focus on a story with fan favorite Claire Redfield, who makes a dramatic return to the horrors that haunted her in the past. We also know that Moira Burton, a new character in the series, will be a playable protagonist alongside Claire.

Now there’s a good possibility that her father, Barry Burton, may be another playable character in the game, according to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). The ESRB recently posted the rating for Revelations 2 that mentions a “father searching for his daughter” as a playable character. Although the post doesn’t say the name of the character, we can all assume that the missing daughter is Moira Burton. Capcom hasn’t shed any light on this developing story, but the chances that Barry Button will be added to the game is a good possibility since Revelations 2 is confirmed as a periodical release.

Lastly, as you might have already expected, Revelations 2 is M for Mature.

Combat is highlighted by screams of pain, realistic gunfire, and large blood-splatter effects. A handful of enemies are depicted with exposed organs, and one scene depicts an enemy having its hand cut off in slow-motion.

Revelations 2 is scheduled to release on February 17, 2015 in North America for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
