Fighting inside the cage under the UFC roof, acting in big Hollywood movies, and now the first to represent the holiday campaign for a new Buffalo brand that is geared towards athletes, Ronda Rousey has proven again to the world of MMA that she isn’t limited to one thing.
Today, the UFC Bantamweight Champion reached in new milestone in her life. Rousey has transitioned over to the fashion industry and has been officially selected to be the only face of Buffalo Pro. A new clothing line that will launch over the holiday season.
The announcement came directly from Buffalo David Bitton with Rousey releasing the following statement.
It’s such an amazing opportunity to be able to represent Buffalo Pro. Not only am I the first female they’ve ever had representing the campaign, but it’s the first time any MMA fighter has done any type of fashion thing at all. I feel really honored to be taking the first steps into this industry. I never had the confidence when I was younger to dress well, and avoided any type of fashion and femininity, and I’m enjoying the chance to embrace it at this point in my life.
Obviously, this is just another side gig for Rousey, who will continue to train at GFC with coach Edmond Tarverdyan for her upcoming five-round title defense against Cat Zingano at UFC 184 on February 28, 2015.
