I don’t usually like to support bands that bear any resemblance to hipsters, in any capacity, because, well, hipsters are vile scum. Despite that, I’m letting you know about Atlanta’s metalcore (a sub-genre of metal typical of hipster affinity) outfit, Separations, because they seem to be going in the direction that Linkin Park should have gone in, you know, instead of becoming a poppy boy band.
I’ve heard a few songs from Separations’ upcoming album, Bloom (to be released June 23rd), and those songs are pretty damn good, leaving me wanting to hear more (thankfully there are eight more songs to listen to), which is a good sign. Just check out the track “Exist” on this page.
