After 19 years, Failure is readying the release of a new album, The Heart Is a Monster, which is the bands first since 1996’s Fantastic Planet. The new album will be released on June 30th, via INresidence, but you can stream it in full right here.
A video for the album’s first single, “Hot Traveler,” debuted last week, and can be viewed in the player above.
Failure officially disbanded in 1997, leaving behind three albums and a solid legacy. In 2013, however, Ken Andrews, Greg Edwards, and Kellii Scott reunited for some shows and a tour. Now, we’ve been blessed from the gods of spacey mid-’90s rock with a new album, which can be pre-ordered here, and a new tour that kicks off with an in-store show at Amoeba Hollywood on June 30th. Failure will also hit up Milwaukee’s Summerfest and Ottawa’s Bluesfest.
