Sara is nine-months pregnant after taking the plunge and spending the night with her hot ex-boyfriend Skyler, who just came back from his summer trip to Mexico. Besides dealing with a massive womb, Sara has another problem that most teenagers don’t ever have to experience. Giving birth to a god damn alien baby. The nurse at her clinic quickly discovers something odd is living inside Sara and it’s definitely not human.
After a trip to the clinic turns horrific, Sara and Hayley realize this alien problem is only just beginning. Over the course of the night, Sara deals with her dead-beat baby daddy, a disapproving mom, and judgmental friends. Ultimately, this is a story of a girl finding self-worth and learning to accept her choices… by killing aliens.
Snatchers is one of eight upcoming horror comedy series produced by STAGE 13, which will premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival later this month. It’s scheduled to screen on Saturday, January 21 @ 11:30PM at the Prospector Square Theatre and on Monday, January 23 @ 9:45PM at the Broadway Centre Cinema 3.
