Well here’s something that makes a shit-ton of sense since these two bands have been tour together like a couple of blood-bonded vampires for the last couple of months. Taking Back Sunday and The Used are going to release a 10” split on September 9th.
It’s pretty rare that bands will put out a split just to commemorate or to honor their tour together, but this is something that I’d definitely like to see more of. In fact, bands on tour together should make a split and sell them at their respective merch tables. And put songs on there that aren’t available elsewhere. Shit, that sounds like an awesome idea, thank you very much.
Pre-orders can be made now at: hopelessrecords.merchnow.com
This special release features a single and rare b-side from each band. It includes Taking Back Sunday’s “Flicker, Fade” off Happiness Is and b-side “How I Met Your Mother” as well as The Used’s “Revolution” off Imaginary Enemy and b-side “Money Monster.”
Only 1,000 copies are available on two vinyl variants:

– 500 on black vinyl (retail)
