Techland Confirms Dying Light Will Be 1080p On PS4

With a new gameplay demonstration available for Techland’s upcoming zombie survival-horror, Dying Light, also comes new detail about the game, specifically for the PlayStation 4. Developer Techland confirmed Saturday night during the Spike VGX Awards that Dying Light will run at 1080p on the PS4. However, it wasn’t revealed if the Xbox One will be capable of running the game at that resolution yet.

Although, I’m 100% sure it will since it would be pretty lame if the next-gen console had the same resolution as on the Xbox 360 and PS3. What would be the point of upgrading? According to our previous report, Dying Light will feature a full day-night cycle, during the day the player will need to find supplies and at night the zombies become much more aggressive.

We still have no clue when Dying Light will launch, but expect it to be available sometime in 2014, on all the platforms mentioned above, including the PC.
