The first trailer for Terminator: Genisys was unveiled yesterday, and we gotta say it looks awesome!
If you watch the trailer and you’re thinking, “This looks familiar. This looks like a near remake of T2” that may be because director Alan Taylor and writers Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis have aimed to recreate scenes from the first two films, but with a bunch of twists to the continuity we all know and love. One such twist, as we’ve mentioned before, Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) was raised by Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator, and she calls him “Pops.”
Terminator: Genisys also stars Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung Hun Lee, and Matt Smith. The promising franchise reboot hits theaters on July 1, 2015, and is to be the first movie in a trilogy.
