We’ve been covering quite a few game releases today, but none of them are as terrifying as The Evil Within. It’s an upcoming survival horror video game being developed by Japanese studio Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks with Shinji Mikami attached as director. He’s the guy responsible for creating the Resident Evil series, including Devil May Cry, Killer7, Ace Attorney, and a handful of other awesome titles.
Like we previously reported, The Evil Within will be Mikami’s final directorial work and it’s expected to be his scariest yet. If the new gameplay trailer above doesn’t make you shit your pants, then you’re on another level than me and the game will be a breeze for you to finish.
The Evil Within is slated for next year for current-gen consoles, including the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
