The injury Rashad Evans sustained to his knee allowed teammate John Jones to move into the number one contender spot and challenge Shogun Rua for the UFC ‘s Light Heavyweight title. This is a huge shot for Jones, and one that he will not take lightly. Expect Jones to come out ready to throw everything in his arsenal at Shogun. Phil Davis also has a huge fight on his hands, as he replaces Tito Ortiz in a fight against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. A win for Davis definitely propels him into the top 10.
