In a special exclusive interview with Larry King, newly minted UFC bantamweight champ Holly Holm talks in-depth about her shocking, but brilliant victory over Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 on November 15, 2015 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. Holm also reveals to Larry what she said to the former champ after knocking her out cold in the second round.
Holm said,
You know I really admire you for being such a great, dominant champion, none of us would be here without you, so I appreciate you.
In addition, Holm told Larry that she has no hard feelings toward Rousey (even after the lack of a glove touch) and doesn’t believe she’s a bad sport in MMA.
I think she’s done great for the sport, because she’s so passionate about what she does and carries this confidence about her. Everybody has their own ways of dealing with their emotions in the sport.
