Former STRIKEFORCE Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold (10–2) is ready to step back inside the Octagon since his first loss to Vitor Belfort under the UFC banner. His plan is to refresh people’s memories that he is still one of the best in the division, and to have a good performance against middleweight prospect Constantinos Philippou (12–3–1), who is also coming off a loss to Vincent Carmont in September.
Both fighters have some proving to do in this next fight, which should catapult the winner to the top 5 slot in middleweight. However, Rockhold is currently the favorite pick in this bout that takes place this Wednesday at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Overall, the fight card for UFC Fight Night 35 isn’t that exciting, but the main event should be enough to keep fans on their toes. Stay tuned to Yell! Magazine for the weigh-in tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. ET.
