The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Las Vegas are teaming up for the third annual UFC International Fight Week July 1-6, 2014. The weeklong celebration for fans around the world returns with its biggest plans yet and something for everyone including entertainment, dining, arts, charitable events, shopping and, of course, all things UFC. The event will also feature for the first-time ever, two huge fight cards in one weekend in the UFC’s hometown of Las Vegas – UFC 175 and The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale and multiple events offered around town every day.
Several of the hottest locations in Las Vegas will host UFC themed events and fans will have access to UFC stars and celebrities. The UFC Fan Expo will also return with new activities, youth and adult, grappling and martial arts tournaments, fan contests, live performances showcasing Las Vegas talent, more main stage activities, and exciting experiences for fans to interact with fighters. Other fan favorite activities will return including a pool party with Octagon Girls, training sessions with fighters, a free concert, weigh-ins and more. During UFC International Fight Week, tens of thousands of fans head to Las Vegas, the UFC’s hometown and fight capital of the world, to meet UFC fighters and talent, experience what Vegas has to offer and witness action-packed events. Some of the most memorable UFC events in history have taken place around Fourth of July weekend. To date, the UFC has hosted more than eighty events in Las Vegas, which have drawn more than half a million fans. The last UFC International Fight Week event generated more than $146 million in economic impact for Las Vegas.
