The rumors about the UFC up for sale is true after all. The MMA giant, which took in $608,629,000 in total revenue and had a profit of $157,806,000 in 2015 currently received multiple bids for the Zuffa owned banner.

According to MMA Fighting, the UFC received bids somewhere in the range of $3.9 and $4.2 billion. Apparently, the sale is nearing a close at $4.1 billion. ESPN sports business inside Darren Rovell was first to report the news and disclosed the two highest bidders are WME-IMG (in conjunction with Dalian Wanda Group) and China Media Capital.

Longtime UFC President Dana White declined to comment on ESPN’s report. In past reports, White denied Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta’s company was up for sale in May 2015.

White said,

Obviously, if I’m in the middle of a deal right now, there’s a lot of confidentiality involved in it. We’re working on expanding. We’re working on growing the company and moving into other territories like China and Japan, Korea. So, yeah, we’re always working on deals.

As far as the UFC being for sale, I’ve said this a million times, we get offers on the UFC all the time. It started in 2010. We got our first offer for the company, which was over $1 billion and we turned it down.

If the sale actually goes down in 2016, it would be for the entire company and White would continue his role as President.
