Yesterday, we published a video containing one hour of gameplay footage from The Evil Within. Today, you can indulge in an extended 22-minute Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay demo that Konami revealed last week during Gamescon.
The clip features Snake sneaking into an enemy base. As usual, he’s going in stealth style and all geared up with high tech equipment, including his handy bionic arm, which does not always seem so handy at times. Beside enemy encounters, Snake has wildlife problems to deal with as the video demonstrates there could be danger in the wilderness. It appears like Snake can be attacked by animals such as wolves. However, Snake avoids them this time around.
One of the highlights in the demo is around the 17-minute mark. It looks like Konami is teasing the multiplayer mode. We see Snake enter another player’s base and get confronted by character similar to him.
Lastly, we have good news for PC gamers. Kojima also revealed at Gamescon that both the prologue (MGS: Ground Zeroes) and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain are coming to PC. But an official release date for all platforms has not been announced yet.
We’ll make sure to keep you updated on MGS at a later date.
