The mid-season of The Walking Dead Season 4 is in the grave now and so is the Governor and Hershel. With those two out of the picture, the show will finally introduce the new characters that were previously revealed in our post. But that won’t be for another two more months, when Season 4 continues on Sunday, February 9, 2014.
I know. It sucks that we need to wait so long to see the other half of the season because the show just started to get really good with the mid-season finale. It was the war between Rick and the Governor that made it all the more interesting. According to a press release, last night’s explosive episode delivered 12.1 million viewers, with 7.7 million adults 18-49, which places The Walking Dead as the highest-rated series in the history of cable television.
AMC President Charlie Collier said:
We couldn’t be happier that audiences are continuing to respond in ever-larger numbers to the outstanding work of this amazingly talented team. We’re only at the mid-point of this fourth season, but I know I speak for the entire cast and crew in Atlanta when I say thank you to the fans for joining in our passion for these characters and their journey.
If you missed last night’s episode, “Too Far Gone”, good news for you, you can check out our full take on the episode.
