Based on the 2010 graphic novel of the same name, a police officer who can’t be stopped by death returns to the streets time and time again in L.A. to fight crime via dark science technology.
Officer Downe had its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival last Friday and will be screened again tonight at the Arclight Cinemas in Culver City.
Ahead of its second screening, the filmmakers have released a first clip from the film to give genre fans an early tease on what’s to come. Officer Downe was directed by M. Shawn Crahan and adapted for the big screen by Joe Casey from his graphic novel. The action film stars Kim Coates, Tyler Ross, Lauren Luna Velez, Meadow Williams, Alison Lohman, and Sona Eyambe.
