This one slipped by us, Belgium’s Diablo Blvd‘s latest video for “Son of Cain.” And it’s a shame because it’s a kick-ass horror-inspired music video directed by Jelle Boucher, who was attempting to capture a Hammer Films vibe. Watch the video in the player above and check out the amazing photos from the video shoot below.
Diablo Blvd commented on the video:
All of us in the band are huge movie buffs and we definitely love those campy grindhouse horror flicks, so when Jelle Boucher came up with the idea to make one for our song ‘Son Of Cain,’ we knew we had to go for it. Knowing your limits is essential in all aspects of life, so no lead role acting by anyone of us which made it even more fun. Anyway, we hope you all enjoy it and for the record… those girls are still single.
“Son of Cain” is from the band’s upcoming album, Follow the Deadlights, due out January 23, 2015, on Nuclear Blast. Pre-order the album on CD and vinyl.
The album was recorded at ICP studios in Brussels with producer Ace Zec in collaboration with the American duo Jay Ruston (mix) and Paul Logus (mastering) who have previously been behind the sound of Anthrax, Stone Sour, Meatloaf, and Steel Panther.
