This year’s ugly Christmas sweater winner goes to director Chris Peckover for his upcoming holiday horror film Better Watch Out. The official poster features a violent sweater made up of axe’s, knives, baseball bats and hand guns. It really can’t get any better than this for genre fans.
This fall Christmas takes a twist for a small suburb family who must equip themselves with self-defence weapons against a group of strangers planning to break into their home.
Set in a quiet American suburb on a snowy evening on the lead up to Christmas, Ashley (DeJonge), the regular babysitter for Deandra (Madsen) and Robert Lerner (Warburton), has to defend their twelve-year-old son (Miller) from strangers breaking into the house – only to discover that this is far from a normal home invasion.
Directed by Chris Peckover, Better Watch Out stars Levi Miller, Olivia DeJonge, Ed Oxenbould, Dacre Montgomery, Aleks Mikic, Patrick Warburton, and Virginia Madsen.
Ahead of the film’s release on October 6th, distributor Well Go USA has also unleashed a teaser trailer to get a glimpse on the violence to come.
