In less than two weeks from today, Dark Sky Films will release a critically acclaimed rape-revenge thriller starring Francesca Eastwood in a role to be remembered for a very long time in horror cinema.
Entitled M.F.A., the film blew people’s mind at its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year. M.F.A. was so impressive that it was also nominated for the Grand Jury Award. Directed by Natalia Leite (Bare) from a debut screenplay by actress Leah McKendrick (Bad Moms), the film exploits current sexual violence on campus.
After being sexually assaulted, an art student confronts her attacker and digs deeper into campus violence in this timely, unpredictable thriller.
McKendrick also co-stars in the film along with Clifton Collins Jr. (Westworld, Knight of Cups). Following a theatrical release in October, M.F.A. is now coming to Blu-ray and DVD on November 28, 2017. For those of you who missed the trailer, we included it in this post for your convenience. If you like it make sure to pick up a copy when it drops.
