It’s no secret. We like zombies. We like strippers. We like fast cars. We like Danny Trejo. Ane we especially like Danny Trejo as a priest zombie hunter. We also like fairy princesses, cotton candy, My Little Pony, and Justin Bieber, but that leads us away from our point. (Note to self: Don’t forget to tell the readers that the “we also like” list was a joke.)
What we have for you today is the first trailer for Zombie Hunter. It’s not perfect, it’s actually “in bad shape,” but the film just got underway in its Kickstarter campaign for money for its visual and audio effects.
Zombie Hunter comes from first time writer, director, and producer K. King, and, aside from Danny Trejo, also stars Martin Copping, Clare Niederpruem (The Maze, Orc Wars, Vamp U), and Amy Savannah (Street, Friend Request).
There’s no official word yet on when Zombie Hunter will be released, but if all goes well with Kickstarter, we can hope for something by the end of 2013 or early 2014.
Official Zombie Hunter synopsis:
”Zombie Hunter is set in a post-apocalyptic Zombie wasteland caused by the mysterious street drug ‘Natas.’ We follow one man who has nothing left other than a beat up Camaro and a trunk full of guns and booze. He runs down Flesh Eaters, hunting for sport and redemption, while also running from his past. After crashing into a small group of survivors, who are running low on resources, he decides to lend a hand. But a surprise attack by the Flesh Eaters forces them on the run and puts the Hunter’s skills to the test.”
