Dez Fafara, the DevilDriver frontman, has recorded a new song for cancer. Actually, it’s a bit more personal than that. Dez’ sister has breast cancer and has been undergoing treatment. All proceeds from the new single, which will be available for download via iTunes in the near future, are going toward her treatment.
Cancer is something that touches all of us these days. Whether it’s you, a family member, or a friend, someone you know has had the disease. Hopefully, the people you love have come through and beaten their cancer. Unfortunately, that most certainly cannot be done without treatment – and treatment costs money. My cousin, who’s a survivor, had chemo pills that cost upwards of 10 Gs.
