First Official Teaser Trailer For Carrie – The Sultana Of Fire Is Coming To A Town Near You

Carrie (2013) PosterThe New York Comic Con (NYCC) is over and done with, and it actually had a solid selection of panels this year for upcoming horror films that are scheduled to be released in 2013. These include such films as Carrie and The Evil Dead remakes, which are also the most talked about horror films of the last few months. Since the NYCC, it didn’t take long for Sony Pictures to release the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated supernatural tale of Carrie.

If you’re wondering if Carrie will be a direct copycat of Brian De Palma’s 1976 film, most of the gossip leads people to believe that the story will follow closer to the original novel by Stephen King, just in case you wanted to know. So this should give you some relief on the new Carrie being just another poor Hollywood remake.

The teaser trailer above doesn’t reveal much, but at just under 60 seconds it won’t burn your time away at work, or whatever else you’re doing at the moment. All this Carrie trailer shows is an aerial shot descending on a street blazed up in fire and looking like an inferno of hell. You will also notice a glimpse of the school I’m assuming is where Carrie had her prom night go wrong and from which all the hell breaks lose, and continues farther up on the street. It’s a sight that will make all you horror hounds gasping for more from Carrie, which is slated to be released on March 15, 2013.
