Jamie Foxx To Play Electro?

Jamie Foxx is a chameleon of an actor. Starting out as a funnyman (In Living Color), making his way into action (Any Given Sunday), and transitioning into drama (Ray), it seems that the Oscar-winning actor can do anything — and now he’s going to try his hand as a comic book villain.

Reports have been circulating the Internet that Jamie Foxx is in early negotiations to take on the role of Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Foxx didn’t try to squash the the chatter with his post on Twitter earlier today:

Once again, Marc Webb will be directing The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as is Avi Arad as producer. Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), and Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson) are starring.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is slated for a 3-D on May 2, 2014.
