We previously reported a number of video teasers for Bates Motel, an upcoming TV series on A&E. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, the show will interpret the early life of a sweet boy named Norman Bates and his loving mother, Norma, before the events that took place in Psycho. Finally, on March 18th, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, we jump right into the first episode, “First You Dream, Then You Die”, directed by Tucker Gates. Yes, A&E is skipping the usual pilot and has nine more episodes to come in Season 1.
Bates Motel features Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates, Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates, and Max Thieriot as Norman’s older brother, Dylan. With the premiere of the series to come very soon, we have another short preview of what’s to come in Season 1 in this new promo clip for Bates Motel.
