It’s quite obvious A&E is bombarding us, in a good way of course, with tons of promos for their upcoming televised series, Bates Motel. They previously released a few teasers for it, and now they’re giving us a four minute preview of the first episode titled “First You Dream, Then You Die.” I assure you it isn’t a sleeper like the clip we just posted for Stoker because it is frankly longer, and gives us a better understanding of the two main characters, Norman Bates and his mother.
As you should already be aware by now, Bates Motel is a prequel to the most famous fright film of all-time, Psycho. The series is expected to depict the life of Norman Bates and his mother Norma prior to the events portrayed in Hitchcock’s film.
Bates Motel kick starts on Monday, March 18, 2013 on A&E. The cast includes Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, and Max Thieriot.
