Gary Oldman Casted In Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

I think most people would agree that Rise of the Planet of the Apes was phenomenal. So it makes sense to cast a phenomenal actor, Gary Oldman, in the film’s sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Oldman will play the leader of the human resistance, Dreyfus, after the apes take over control of power from people. Actually, this sounds like a zombie movie, only with intelligent apes. Ah, how we love the apocalypse.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, to be directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In), is currently scheduled for release on May 23, 2014.
