Of course you know his name, it’s Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) and he’s back in the haunted swamps again, ready to kill anyone who crosses him in brutal fashion. Aside from only looking at the stills released for the film so far, many of you have been waiting to see some footage from Hatchet III to see what director BJ McDonnell has done with the horror franchise in his directional debut. Thankfully, the first official teaser went online today, and we have it here for you to watch.
In Hatchet III, the tale continues in Honey Island as a recovery team is on the hunt for the now-iconic villain, Victor Crowley, to pick up the pieces and carnage left behind from the first two films. Along for the horror ride is the lovely Danielle Harris (Halloween 5, Stake Land), who reprises her role once again as Marybeth, to put an end to Crowley’s rampage in the swamp.
It’s definitely a basic horror story, but the franchise delivers one thing we thrive on here at Yell! Magazine, which is tons of blood and gore. However, the trailer doesn’t show any, I’m still sure we can expect the third installment to be as brutal as Hatchet 2. If not, worse.
