The Crow Remake Could Star Tom Hiddleston As Eric Draven

Like it or not, a remake of The Crow is happening. We already know that Spanish director F. Javier Guttierez will helm the project from a script by Cliff Dorfman, but we’ve been unsure about the star who will play Eric Draven.

However, according to sources, production is expected to start in the fall and it sounds like the producers may have found an actor to play the titular character, which was previously played by Brandon Lee in 1994. At the moment, the man in talks to play the role is none other than Tom Hiddleston, known for portraying Loki in Marvel’s Thor and The Avengers.

James McAvoy was originally up for the part in The Crow remake, but Hiddleson’s recent makeup test in London may have won the producers over, and a full makeover test is going to happen before the final decision.

When the official announcement is made, we’ll be sure to keep you updated here on Yell! Magazine.
