Megadeth recently released another teaser track from the forthcoming Super Collider (June 4th). “Kingmaker,” about wanting everything now, is a solid track from a maturing Megadeth, but, for me, it lacks the visceral hunger of a younger Megadeth. It’s definitely better than the title track, but how the rest of the album will turn out remains to be seen – I don’t have high hopes considering David Draiman’s involvement (he appears on “Dance in the Rain” and “Forget to Remember”).
The dates for Gigantour 2013 have also been revealed (see below), but as we reported earlier, the bands that are on it are a little underwhelming.
As a huge Megadeth fan, I have to say that I’m not feeling very confident about Super Collider or Gigantour 2013. I hope the experience of both turns out better than the lead up.
Megadeth’s Super Collider track listing:
1. Kingmaker
