Before Quinton “Rampage” Jackson sets foot inside the cage for Bellator MMA, the former UFC light heavyweight champion made his debut appearance last night on TNA Impact Wrestling after he officially signed a rare multi-year deal with Bellator, TNA, and Spike TV. Because “Rampage” is still recovering from a knee injury, he most likely won’t be doing any MMA until the fall.
However, “Rampage” got the ball rolling with his pro wrestling career in TNA with Kurt Angle, who gave “Rampage” a friendly welcome to the sport. You can watch the intense staredown in the video right above.
TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter released the following statement about his new high-profile member:
“Rampage is one of the best known MMA fighters competing today. He is a true cross-over star and his talent, big personality, and popularity among a wide range of fans make him an extraordinary fit for our company.”
