Considering this is our second Frankenstein-related article of the week, I think it’s safe to say that we’re in for a glut of Frankie films. The main reason for the invasion is because Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein entered the public domain a couple of years ago, however, keep in mind that versions of the Frankenstein monster are still under copyright, such as Universal Monster‘s version.
Now, get ready for The Frankenstein Theory. This film, from the creators of The Last Exorcism and directed by Andrew Weiner, had its video premiere on March 1, 2013, in the U.S., and on July 2, 2013, it will be made available in Canada as well.
Yes, the trailer looks awesome, even if it echoes what we saw in the Norwegian film, Trollhunter.
