I just love this new Hatchet III clip featuring Marybeth (Danielle Harris) and some bitch named Amanda talking to her about her experiences with Victor Crowley. It definitely reminds me of a slasher flick from the ’80s slasher, specifically Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Something about this scene with Marybeth reminds me of Tommy Jarvis and his nightmares of Jason Voorhees. On top of that, the lady says “you can’t kill him, he’s already dead”. So go figure, right? I honestly doubt it was a direct inspiration, but I get a feeling of Friday the 13th in here.
This time the clip is completely safe for work, no gore or blood, just plain old talk about the “Bayou Butcher”. So enjoy!
Hatchet III will premiere on VOD and digital download, including select theaters on June 14, 2013.
