The third installment in the Batman: Arkham series is dropping soon for the PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows in October. But if you’re planning to wait a little longer to get the Xbox One or PS4 version of Batman: Arkham Origins, then hold on to your bat wings because Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just confirmed via Twitter that the game won’t be available for next-gen consoles.

#ArkhamOrigins will only be available on the announced platforms and is not coming to PS4 or XBox One.

Batman: Arkham Origins is currently scheduled for release on October 25, 2013.
